Tetracycline Pills are a form of antibiotics in DayZ that can effectively treat cholera and wound infections, but are ineffective against common colds, flu, and other viral infections. Each Tetracycline Pill has a duration of 5 minutes, meaning that another pill must be taken after this time has elapsed. For ease of use and inventory management, the pills can be stacked in your inventory.
TIP: As you can not use 2 of the same pills at once to boost effectiveness, you can combine two different meds at the same time. You can take Multivitamin Pills and Tetracycline Pills together and they will both act on infections, although only one icon will appear on the player’s HUD.
